DUAL DEGREE PROGRAM

Dual-Degree Programs

The IBMBA program offers a wide array of dual degree programs in which students can earn another degree in addition to the one they will earn at NSYSU. The IBMBA program is continually working to expand and offer more opportunities for the students to gain more international experiences. More information is provided below for those interested in earning two degrees during your time in the IBMBA program. ACT INTERNATIONAL PROGRAM

The National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU), University of Victoria (UVic) and Johannes Kepler Universität Linz (JKU), recognizing the mutual benefits of developing complementary joint programs in Global Business at the graduate level, decided to host the triad ACT (denoting Austria, Canada and Taiwan) program and provide students from three institutions an unique and creative opportunity to develop superior academic knowledge, a global mindset as well as professional, cultural and social competencies, enabling them to deal successfully in a growing global economy.

The program will give participating students from each university a global business education, and at the end of the joint program the students will receive a Certificate of Completion signed by all three institutions.

Students from NSYSU participate in a three-way exchange among Victoria, Canada, Taiwan, and Linz, Austria for dual degrees from NSYSU and Johannes Kepler University upon graduation.

JKU DOUBLE-DEGREE PROGRAM

The Johannes Kepler University (JKU) is a public institution of higher education in Austria. It offers bachelor's, master's, diploma and doctoral degrees in business, engineering, law, science, and social sciences.

In 2012, the Times Higher Education ranked JKU at # 41 and in 2015 at # 87 in its list of the top 100 universities under 50 years old. According to the 2012 ranking, the JKU was the fifth best young university in German-speaking Europe. The university attained high scores for quotations, third-party funding, and internationalization efforts.

ESSCA DOUBLE-DEGREE PROGRAM IN MANAGEMENT

École Supérieure des Sciences Commerciales d’Angers (ESSCA) is a business school in France. It has been awarded by three international accreditation : EQUIS, AACSB and AMBA.

The ESSCA Group conducts its activities by dividing its competencies into fields: logistics and trading strategy, finance/banks, social economics, automotive management, entrepreneurship and European integration. ESSCA has four campuses: ESSCA Angers, ESSCA Paris, ESSCA Budapest and ESSCA Shanghai.

Based on their long-lasting and cordial partnership, National Sun Yat-sen University and EESSCA decided to offer the NSYSU-ESSCA Double Degree Program in Management in 2007, for the purpose of mutually benefiting students of both institutions. Students completing program requirements will be conferred with MBA degrees from both National Sun Yat-sen University and ESSCA.

Students from NSYSU get the opportunity to study for a semester in Angers, France and a semester in Budapest, Hungary and receive dual degrees from NSYSU and ESSCA upon graduation.

NSYSU-KEDGE DOUBLE DEGREE

KEDGE is one of the top Business Schools in the world. KEDGE Business School is merged by two famous Business Schools in France, Bordeaux École de Management(BEM) and Euromed Marseille Ecole de Management(EMEM). The school was accredited by AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA.

There are 6 campus of KEDGE which are located in different cities in France and China, including Bordeaux, Marseille, Paris, oulon, Suzhou, and Shanghai.

KEDGE Business School is one of the sister schools with College of Management which located in Marseille, France. 
Dual degree program was agreed by both universities and the cooperation for the dual degree starts from 2017. The program offers the opportunity for IBMBA students to study at KEDGE Business School and get the Dual Degree Diploma. 

SUNY KOREA DOUBLE DEGREE

SUNY Korea located in Incheon Free Economic Zone (IFEZ), Korea. They are the  first Korean campus managed by a US University offering US degree programs and through mutual efforts between the Stony Brook University and the Republic of Korea, SUNY Korea brings "American-style" education to the Asian continent. The curriculum at SUNY Korea consists of selected degree programs of Stony Brook. The design and delivery of each program agrees with the degree program as delivered in the US and the degree is granted from Stony Brook University.

National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU) and State University of New York in Korea (SUNY Korea) are offering a joint program, and it starts to recruit students in 2012 (for the fall semester in 2013).After taking some pre-requisite courses (offered by IM Department) in NSYSU, students can waive at most 9 credits while taking the TSM program in SUNY Korea and graduate with 2 master degrees, one from NSYSU and another from SUNY.
