On the morning of May 26, 2025, students in the Accounting course at National Sun Yat-sen University had the privilege of attending a dynamic online guest lecture titled “AI-Powered Transformation.” The session featured Dr. Hedy Ho, with over 30 years of experience in Microsoft, outlining her expertise in tech and management, and Linda Chuk, a certified CPA with a rich background in Commercial Planning, Revenue Operations, and Deal Desk.

Dr. Ho delivered a thought-provoking talk on how AI is not only transforming industries but also reshaping the skills needed for success. Emphasizing curiosity as a professional superpower, she shared personal stories and quoted Einstein: “I have no special talents. I’m just really, really curious.” This theme of curiosity carried through the session, encouraging students to see question-asking as a strategic skill in the digital age.

She also discussed Microsoft’s digital reinvention, reinforcing that AI is no longer optional but a survival imperative. Linda Chuk supplemented the discussion with practical insights on how AI is integrated into corporate financial operations and decision-making.
