【Field Trip】IBBA 107 Human Resource Management Students Explore Pier-2 Art Center
Written by Ariel Ho
On 7th May 2025, students from the Human Resource Management course participated in an immersive field trip to the Pier-2 Art Center. This activity was part of the USR initiative, which aims to foster student engagement with sustainability and community development.
During the visit, students conducted guided tours and on-site interviews with local creative businesses and vendors. They observed how these businesses integrate Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into their daily operations.
In addition, as a culmination of this experiential learning journey, students will present their final project proposals in class. Based on the interview and survey results, students will propose solutions to solve problems or help businesses do better.
Representatives from the Pier-2 businesses were invited to join as guest evaluators. Their participation will not only provide professional feedback but also strengthen the connection between academia and local industries.
These discussions provided students with a broader understanding of how sustainability and inclusivity intersect in real-world business settings.
Please stay tuned for further updates and insights from the IBBA community.
