IBMBA & GHRM MBA NSYSU students at the 19th International Conference on Knowledge-based Economy and Global Management Organizing Committee hosted by STUST, Taiwan.

The 19th International Conference on Knowledge-based Economy and Global Management, organized by Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, was a remarkable event that brought experts, scholars and students from all corners of the globe to share insights, ideas, and breakthroughs in the fields of management and economics. In an endeavor to advance their academic horizons and foster international collaboration, IBMBA & GHRM MBA students from National Sun Yat-sen University contributed to the Conference with two excellent papers.

Andy & Christine - IBMBA vs Minh & Trinh - GHRM MBA

Andy and Christine, two students from the IBMBA, made a notable contribution to the conference with the topic "Reverse Brain Drain: An Empirical Study on Individual Factors and National Identity." Their work focused on exploring the factors that influence Vietnamese overseas students to return to their home country after studying and working abroad. The team's research unveiled valuable insights into the interplay between personal motivations, national identity, and the decision to return. Their findings will undoubtedly have implications for policymakers and businesses alike.

Andy & Christine from IBMBA, College of Management, NSYSU

Minh and Trinh from the GHRM-MBA program, presented their research on "Perceived Overqualification and Job Search: A Multiple Mediation Model with Job Boredom and Employment Self-Efficacy." Their study investigated the relationship between perceived overqualification and job search behavior through two mediations: job boredom and employment self-efficacy. Their presentation garnered attention for its innovative approach & thoughtful implications for managers in a rapidly changing labor market.

Minh and Trinh from GHRM MBA, College of Management

Both teams brought fresh perspectives and research findings to the conference, showcasing the exceptional quality of education and research at NSYSU's College of Management.
